A map of Blogsville
I keep complaining that I regularly get lost in Blogsville without a map to help me find my way back. Well I wheeled out my cartography skills and have produced one so that nobody need ever get lost again...... click on it to enlarge...for those long of sight
I would like to pledge to re-draw this after some time to see if it changes....when Mrs Blase manifests.

Pleasure in producing nonsense like this is EXACTLY the social misfit type stuff I have usually learnt to keep hidden.
ReplyDeleteWould YOU want this rattling around in YOUR head with nowhere for it to go?

I like that drawing. My tblog echnique is a bit different, less sophisticated, or lazy as we call it. I could do with teh wing mirrors.
ReplyDeleteMolly: you are amazing. THIS is absolutely brilliant and I love it. I am trying to catch up on your prolific blogging, and others, and keep going off on a tangent because I haven't read anyone's blog properly for a while, due to the demands of REAL LIFE, that bloody interferer and interloper. I cannot seem to get caught up, and then when I try you've moved on again. As has everyone else. Now how would you chart that?
ReplyDeleteI need a GPS for blogging.
:-)
I spend way too much time in Bogsville and I wanna get back to REAL LIE. I can't read maps though xxx
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant! I am currently on my way down Link Lane after reading the comments section on this post: http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/2010/01/five-quick-things-i-think-youll-like.html#comments
ReplyDeleteYou might like it! It is all about people being creative and I am about to visit the blogs of the commenters!
Molly - yes better out than in I'd say. Who knows what the harm that rattling round and round could do.
ReplyDeleteNick - I am still enthusiastic - my interest will probably wane at some point.
Clipster - thank you - I am glowing from your praise inside and out. I will send you a real life PAUSE button so you can enter Blogsville without needing to look in the wing mirrors.
OK Claire, first left, 3rd right, straight on, over the bridge, wave at the sausage dog, third right and that ought to get you there.
Nikki. Thank you Nikki. More glowing. I went there AND commented. I refuse to get sucked in any further. Too much stimulation and my brain implodes.
Hi molls, thanks for the comment :) I hope your interest doesn't wane too much, I really enjoy your blog. - Codgi
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly Codgi....no sign of waning just yet
ReplyDeleteI believe that I took a wrong turn, it has taken me awhile to retrace my footsteps :-) Suggest that you make it a linear chart ? No did you say a'h well!
ReplyDeleteSo which way is up?
ReplyDeleteI once read a piece that described the creative process as if it were the plumbing of a house - not as a metaphor - it written quite literally, as if it were so; very odd, but kind of haunting.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you been *watching* me then??!?! am i under potterian surveillance??!?!?? toooooooooo flippin' funny, woman!
ReplyDelete(& DEAD ON...and i mean scarily, SPOOKILY dead on!)
(except i never really draft...just plunge in...and the "stare out the window" bubble could easily be 800% bigger...and there should be additional outside bubbles for going to the bathroom and/or burning scrambled eggs whilst making "one more quick change" before publishing!)
♥♥♥♥♥
LOVE this!!!
Yes Lauren...think Truman Show!
ReplyDeleteBlogsville is addictive but we have to remember it's not real life...really it isn't.
